Our story

Platform earners don't have a data problem. They have a connection problem. The ride app reports one way, the marketplace another, the freelance platform a third. Each is accurate on its own, and together they add up to nothing you can say out loud.

Most people have already tried to fix it. A spreadsheet for one platform, notes for another, a bookkeeping subscription, Xero or QuickBooks underneath, four dashboards open on a Sunday night. A finance function's worth of tooling, run by one person, and still no single number at the end of the month.

Our founder, Mason O., spent a career fixing that same problem inside large organisations: fragmented systems, broken workflows, disconnected data. Large companies spend heavily to make their numbers agree. One person with five platforms has the same problem five departments feeding into finance have — without the team, the budget, or anything built for them.

We started at the tax estimate, because that's where the regulations were moving first and platform earners were about to be asked questions they couldn't answer. Everything else was built outward from there: what's left after each platform's cut, then everything coming in, across 145+ platforms and whatever currency it arrives in.

So PlatformTaxHub isn't a tax tool. It started at the centre, and the centre happened to be tax.

What we promise

• A number you can say out loud. Not a chart. Not an export. A figure you can state without opening an app.
• What you keep, not what you earned. Gross is what the platform shows you. We're interested in what survives the fees.
• Estimates you can act on, and we'll say when they're estimates. No false precision, and no pretending a number is certain when it isn't.
• We're not your accountant. We don't file, and we don't give jurisdiction-specific advice. We make the position clear enough to act on, or to hand to someone who does.
