1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the site function, remember your preferences, and understand how you use the service. This policy also covers similar storage technologies, such as browser local storage, that we use for the same purposes. This policy covers platformtaxhub.com and associated domains including platformincome.com and platformearners.com.

3. Cookie Categories We Use

Strictly Necessary Storage (No consent required)These are essential for the website to function. Without them, you cannot log in, access your dashboard, or use secure areas.

• Session authentication cookies
• Security tokens (CSRF protection)
• Cookie consent preference storage (local storage)
• Platform City: The Game progress and, if you sign in, your sign-in token (local storage). These keep your levels, stars and prizes and keep you signed in; they are not used for analytics or advertising.
• Any affiliate or referral code present in the page URL (e.g. ?ref=), stored in local storage (not a cookie). This identifies the partner who introduced you, never you. We are contractually required to record it so that the correct partner is paid if you subscribe, and it is shared with our affiliate-tracking system for that purpose alone.

Attribution & Analytics Storage (Optional — requires your consent in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland)We use Google Analytics, with Google Consent Mode, to understand how the site is used. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, analytics cookies are off until you select "Accept all" on our cookie banner; until then Google Analytics receives only cookieless signals that set no cookies and carry no cookie identifier. Elsewhere, analytics cookies are on by default and you can turn them off at any time with "Cookie settings". Google Analytics sets the cookies _ga and _ga_<ID>, which last up to 2 years, and records the pages you visit, how you use our free tools (when you start one, when you ask for your result and which next step you choose), when you create an account, start a checkout or complete a payment (the plan and amount, never your name or card details), the site that sent you, an approximate location and your device and browser type. It does not receive your name, your email address or the figures you type into a tool. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy).

We also store the following in your browser's local storage (not a cookie) to understand which campaigns bring people to the site and to detect fraudulent referrals:

• UTM parameters, referrer, and landing page, captured on your first visit (first-touch attribution). These are sent with your signup or free tool submission so we know which campaign it came from
• A record of your visit from a referral link, including your IP address, held on our servers and used solely to detect a partner claiming commission on their own purchase

This storage is never set if you select "Necessary only."

Payment Processing Cookies (Strictly necessary)Stripe sets cookies to process payments securely and prevent fraud. These are classified as strictly necessary for the payment service to function.

4. Browser Extension Data (Not Cookies)

Our Chrome extensions do not set cookies on your device or on any website you visit. Instead, on install, the extension generates a randomly-generated anonymous identifier stored locally within the extension, and separately logs which domain, tool, and role was displayed to you. We do not collect your email address, browsing history, or the content of any page you visit through the extension. This data is used solely to improve the accuracy of tool suggestions and is retained for up to 26 months. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

5. Your Consent Choices

• Strictly necessary and payment cookies are set automatically — they are required for the service to function.
• Attribution & analytics storage in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland is only set if you select "Accept all" on the cookie banner. Selecting "Necessary only" there means Google Analytics sets no cookies, no UTM, referrer or landing-page data is stored in your browser, and no record of your referral visit is kept on our servers. Elsewhere, Google Analytics cookies are set by default; choosing "Necessary only" in "Cookie settings" turns them off and deletes them.
• You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" at the bottom of every page. Choosing "Necessary only" there turns off Google Analytics cookies and deletes them.
• We do not run advertising or ad-personalisation cookies. Google's advertising storage and personalisation signals are switched off for every visitor.

6. Managing and Deleting Cookies

You can set your browser to refuse all cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent. Note that refusing strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from logging in or using the dashboard.

We update this policy when our cookie usage changes or when regulations are amended. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via a notice on the website.
