Platform City: The Game
You can earn a lot on a platform and still keep very little. Fees come out first, payouts arrive late, and the bills do not wait. These free games let you feel that for a month, in a few minutes, before it happens to your real money.

Platform earners are told what they earn. Almost nobody is shown what they keep.
We started with calculators, because that is where the answer lives. They are accurate. However, a number on a screen doesn’t make you feel what it is like waiting for a payout while your bills are due and fees or fines have just taken a quarter of a ride.
So we built a game. Platform City lets you live a month in the life of a Gig Worker, Freelancer, Creator, Rental Host, E-commerce Seller or Digital Product Seller, and your score is what you kept, not what you earned.
We use real platform names and simplified fees, because the lesson is how the money moves, not the maths. You also win prizes the more you advance in the game.
The game is not financial or tax advice, and it is not a forecast of what you will earn.
We look forward to you helping build the 1% level.
Look at what you keep, not what you earn.
Choose your hub and your earner type, then draw a starting story.
Jobs arrive as notifications. Paydays and bills land on set days.
Your report card counts the money you kept, not the money you earned.
Platform City is a free browser game about how people earn through platforms around the world. You pick where you live, choose who you are, draw a starting story, then play a month of work, bills and surprises. At the end you get a report card showing what you kept.
A month is 20 moments. Paydays land on set days. Bills land on others. In between, jobs arrive as phone notifications and you decide whether to take them. Some jobs need you to leave the flat, so you see the character head out. Home jobs happen on the laptop. Life gets in the way too: a rainy day, a power cut, a fine, a quiet week.
You are never told the pay before you choose. That is deliberate. Experience, not a menu, is how platform earners learn which jobs are worth the energy.

Each earner type has its own flat, its own work and its own platforms, so a month as a Creator feels different from a month as a Rental Host.
Rides and deliveries, fuel, long shifts, fast cash and fees on every job.
Projects, clients, invoices and platform fees that bite harder on small jobs.
Brand deals, views, platform cuts and income that swings from month to month.
Bookings, cleaning, guests and the quiet weeks in between.
Stock, packing, marketplace fees and returns.
Sales that cost nothing to deliver but plenty to attract.
Choose one of five hubs: the Americas, Europe, Africa, the Middle East or Asia. Each has its own home city, so money is shown in the local currency, and every fee is a percentage, so the game feels real without pretending that one exchange rate fits everyone. Each earner type uses two platforms in your hub: one global platform and one local one.
Every level is played for keeps: what you earn, you keep, and what you lose, you lose.
One income, one platform, the basics of fees and payout timing.
Stack income streams and platforms to ride out a bad week.
More moving parts and a small safety net.
A full safety net, plus the option to move to another country and earn from its platforms too.
Locked for now. It is reserved for the players who top the board.
Why a high-earning week can still be a poor one once fees, fuel and costs come out.
Why the gap between "earned" and "paid" matters more than most people expect.
Why more than one income stream makes a bad month survivable.
Why a safety net is a skill, not a luxury.
Why moving countries changes your platforms, your fees and your bills all at once.

If you are signed in, nothing: sign in again and your levels, stars and prizes come back. If you are not signed in, progress is stored in your browser, so clearing site data on that device removes it.
Money kept. The game counts what you have left after fees, bills and costs, not what you earned. A smaller income with good choices can beat a bigger one that leaks.
The game uses the names of real platforms so it feels believable. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any of them. Fees in the game are simplified percentages for play and can differ from what a platform charges you today, so check the platform's own pages for your actual rates.
