These terms apply when you use the Check a statement page to view a report issued by PlatformTaxHub, a service of 4042 Solutions Group LLC ("we", "us"). You accept them by ticking the box before the report is shown. If you do not accept them, do not view the report.
1. What you are viewing
A read-only copy of a report that a PlatformTaxHub user issued from their own account, showing the income and expense records they entered or uploaded, as those records stood on the date the report was finalised. Later changes to their records are not shown. A report downloaded again after it was finalised is marked REPRINT; its figures are the same as the original.
2. What the check confirms, and what it does not
The check confirms only that we issued this report, with this reference, on the date shown, and (if you upload a file) whether that file is the one we issued. We have not audited, verified or authenticated the figures, and we give no assurance about their accuracy or completeness.
3. Not advice or an official document
The report is not a tax return, an official income document, a payslip, or financial, tax, legal or lending advice. It is not issued by, or on behalf of, any tax authority, bank or employer.
4. Make your own checks
Before relying on the report for any decision, you should confirm the figures against original sources, such as the platform payout statements and bank statements behind them, and apply your own assessment.
5. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we accept no liability to you for the accuracy of the report or for any loss arising from a decision you make using it, including lending, mortgage, rental, employment or visa decisions. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies.
6. Confidentiality and permitted use
The report contains another person's personal and financial information. You may use it only to assess the matter for which it was given to you. Do not share it, publish it, or keep it for longer than that purpose needs, and handle it in line with the data protection law that applies to you.
7. Availability
A report can be checked only while the account holder's plan is active. It may also be withdrawn by the account holder. If so, the page tells you it is no longer available or was withdrawn, and does not show what it said.
8. What we record when you accept
Your name, organisation and email address, the reference you checked, the date and time, your IP address and the version of these terms. We keep this as a record of who accepted these terms, as described in our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; the version you accepted is recorded with your acceptance. These terms are governed by the same law as our Terms of Service. Questions: use our contact form.
